Baaghi 2: Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani to groove on the remake of Punjabi super hit song ‘Mundiyan To Bach Ke’!

Not only films but the mantra of re-creating the old Indian songs is also in a big demand these days. Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 2 is the latest film which is on the spree of remaking old Indian songs. The first song which will be remade is Tezaab's hit track Ek Do Teen, which originally featured Madhuri Dixit. The recreated version will have Jacqueline Fernandez in it. Now, as per reports in a leading tabloid, popular Punjabi track Mundiyan To Bach Ke by Labh Janjua will be in the movie too. The song will be picturized on the leads, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.

Talking about it, director of Baaghi 2 Ahmed Khan said, "Everybody is recreating Punjabi songs and Mundiyan To Bach Ke was the mother of all hits of that time. Since I had to recreate one too, I decided to go ahead with this one as it connects easily with the masses and is a fun number to groove to. All of us had a blast shooting for it."

Ahmed concluded by talking about Tiger and Disha's expressions saying, "I wanted Tiger and Disha to give us the typical hero-heroine expressions and this amused them in the beginning but two days into the song they got into the groove and even contributed with their own expressions and fun elements to the choreography. Even the backup dancers connected with the song immediately and as soon as it started playing they were ready for action and reaction."

The original song was performed by Labh Janjua in 1999 and it was re-created in 2002 by Punjabi MC and American rapper, Jay – Z. The 2002’s remake of the original track was such a big hit that even after 16 years it is considered as one of the best Punjabi songs worldwide.
