This year the cracker packaging will see fresh Bollywood faces on their covers. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are seen on the cracker packets and when it is cracker packaging, Bollywood beauties rule the most. Last year saw Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor on cracker packaging and now, reportedly Deepika Padukone has become the hottest patakha in town by ruling on the cracker packets covers Deepika is seen ruling every type of crackers right from anars, chakris, to phuljharis and rockets.
Hari Bhai, the owner of cracker stall at Ram Lila Maidan said "Almost 80% of all crackers available in the market have pictures of film stars on them. And 40% of them have Deepika's pic on them," Saleem Ahmed, another cracker stall owner at Ram Lila Maidan revealed "The pictures of actors and actresses on the boxes help a lot in attracting the customers. I have sold a lot of crackers featuring Deepika Padukone so far this year," Some cracker packets have solo photos of Deepika, while some other packs show pictures from the film ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani '. Hindustan Cracker's Mahesh Gupta said "Usually kids aged 9 to 12 years are attracted to crackers which showcase the picture of their favourite Bollywood star. This year, the 250 multicoloured rocket shots is one of the popular crackers featuring a Deepika picture,"
