Alia Bhatt had only one release in 2017 - Badrinath Ki Dulhania. But in 2018, she is going to be super busy with her upcoming projects, Raazi, Brahmastra and Gully Boy. Besides Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, the actress was also in news for signing on his father Mahesh Bhatt's movie, Sadak 2, a sequel to the Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt starrer 1991 blockbuster film, Sadak. The film was expected to release in August this year. However, it looks like that Alia is not in a position to allot dates to the sequel and hence, it might be pushed further.
Alia, who recently wrapped up Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, has left for Israel with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji to begin preparations for her upcoming film Brahmastra. While Brahmastra goes on floors in February, she starts the first schedule of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy opposite Ranveer Singh this month only.
According to a source, Sadak 2, which pairs Alia with Sidharth Malhotra, has hit the roadblock because of her other projects. "Alia is juggling Brahmastra and Gully Boy. While the former releases in 2019, the latter is scheduled to hit screens later this year. Alia will also be busy promoting Raazi for a couple of months, as it releases in May. So, Sadak 2 has been postponed. It will roll by the end of 2018."
