Badrinath Bansal (Varun Dhawan) belongs to one of Jhaasi's richest families and, is a happy go lucky guy who is on a look out for a typical bride. In a wedding, his eyes lock with Vaidehi Trivedi (Alia Bhatt) and instantly falls for her. Vaidehi is a smart and ambitious girl with a kickass attitude. Varun proposes her for marriage and she rejects him in style. But, due to family pressure and several other reasons she ultimately says yes to his proposal but, only on a condition of getting her elder sister married first.
But after a major twist, Badri and Vaidehi fall apart. Will their love blossom again or it has gone for a toss?
