Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ gets postponed; the new release date is 25th January 2019!

A few days back, superstar Hrithik Roshan started shooting for his upcoming film, ‘ Super 30 ’, which is being directed by Vikas Bahl . But now we hear that the project has just got postponed. The film is a biopic on the mathematician, Anand Kumar, and was slated to release on 23rd November 2018. As it is the first ever biographical film for Hrithik, he wants to leave no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character. Though the actual reason behind postponing the film is not revealed, the movie will now be releasing on Republic Day week of next year, i.e. 25th January 2019. The movie is being made under the banner of Phantom Films and they confirmed the news on Twitter, stating, “Mark the date! #Super30 starring @iHrithik is set to release on 25th January 2019! @RelianceEnt #VikasBahl @Anand_Super_30”

As the movie is a real-life story of Anand Kumar, it revolves around him and his Super 30 program that he started years back. The program trains 30 Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) aspirants to crack its entrance test.

Earlier Anand has said, Anand said, "Both Hrithik and Vikas have kept me in the loop as they want to make the story as authentic as possible. They have taken a lot of research material from me and Vikas has promised that I will be consulted at every point during the research and writing process. I'm satisfied with the way it's shaping up."

As far as female lead is concerned, a report has it that television actress Mrunal Thakur of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ has been cast opposite Hrithik Roshan in ‘ Super 30 ’.
