Instead of January 2019, ‘Kedarnath’ now advanced to 21st December 2018 release!
The Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Kedarnath’, which was earlier scheduled to release in January 2019, will now hit screens in 2018.

Abhishek Kapoor ’s ‘ Kedarnath ’ has been in talks ever since its announcement; either for being Sara Ali Khan ’s debut vehicle or a constant change in its release date. The film which was earlier planned to hit the screen in January 2019 has now been advanced to the later part of 2018. The love story which unfolds during the catastrophe of Kedarnath now has an official release date. KriArj Entertainment announced the release date on Twitter earlier on Saturday, "With blessings of Shiva... Kedarnath to release on 21st Dec 2018."
Producer Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment said, "Kedarnath is a very special film for KriArj Entertainment and something we are really excited about. It is our tribute to Lord Shiva as it is an intense love story born in Kedarnath. Kedarnath is fondly known as the shelter place of Lord Shiva and this beautiful story unfolds against this picturesque background. 21st December offers us a long run at the box office with the Christmas and New Year holidays. Apart from a successful partnership between Abhishek Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput , the film also marks Sara Ali Khan's debut and releasing the film during this period, will give her the launch platform she deserves".
Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, Kedarnath is being co-produced by KriArj Entertainment and T-Series. It will hit theatre screens nationwide on the 21st December 2018.
