A few months ago, there was news that John Abraham is planning to remake a Spanish thriller film, titled ‘The Invisible Guest’. The actor had even bought the rights of the film and wanted to cast Taapsee Pannu as one of the female leads. The film was supposed to be backed by Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor's KriArj Entertainment along with Abraham's production house, JA Entertainment. But the latest we hear is John has shelved the plan to remake the film as Prernaa opted out from the project. But if the insiders are to be believed, “There are no takers for the film with John and Taapsee. Nobody wants to buy the film, which would mean the film, if made, can run into huge losses for John, if it doesn’t work. Also, the whole suspense and twist in the story are out so it didn’t make sense anymore.”

A trade source further revealed, “John has shelved the idea of making the film. There was a lot of disagreement on the film, right from the beginning. Now, John plans to produce another thriller next year, details of which aren’t out yet.”

Well, John has a fair share as a producer, all the films he has produced in the past turned out to be successful. But as of now, the actor is busy with the only project, ‘ Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran ’, which will hit the screens early next year.
