JP Dutta’s ‘Paltan’ will surely have Suniel Shetty!

After Abhishek Bachchan stepped out of JP Dutta’s ‘Paltan’, there was news about Suniel Shetty backing out of the movie, too, but Anna denied the news and confirmed being the part of the movie by his tweet where he uploaded the poster of ‘Paltan’ and captioned, “U dnt wlk out of D movie of a man who helped mould u into D person & actor u r 4 petty speculations. My lv/respect 4 JP Sir gs beyond D movies”.

Shetty has been part of several movies like ‘Refugee’, ‘Border’, ‘LOC Kargil’ and ‘Umrao Jaan’ with the veteran director, Dutta. The actor also tweeted, “Love & Light to the #PALTAN gang” to show his love and respect for the director and for the upcoming patriotic movie.

Dutta is widely known for his patriotic and war-based movies, where ‘Border’ (1997) is considered as one of the best war movies India has ever produced and is still fresh in our minds. We hope ‘Paltan’ might recreate the same magic as ‘Border’ did two decades ago.

‘Paltan’ is slated to release in the first half of 2018. The movie also features Arjun Rampal, Jimmy Sheirgill, Sonu Sood, Luv Sinha, Gurmeet Chaudhary and Harshvardhan Rane as part of the star cast.
