Madhur Bhandarkar honoured in 'The Indian Film Week in Russia'

The ace filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was honoured at 'The Indian Film Week in Russia', which was held from 25th November to 3rd December.

Everyone knows that Madhur Bhandarkar is the filmmaker who offered the films, based on the new-age fashion and film industry. Madhur's films like ' Page 3 ', ' Traffic Signal ', ' Fashion ' and ' Heroine ' spoke elaborately about the name and fame in glitzy fashion and Bollywood world as well as uncovered the dark face of the industry.

Recently, this national award-winning filmmaker visited Russia in order to attend "The Indian Film Week in Russia" held from 25th November to 3rd December. The event is arranged by the Indian Embassy, Moscow in association with the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center, Moscow. ' Page 3 ' and ' Heroine ' were two of Bhandarkar's movies that were screened at the event. During this, Bhandarkar visited Moscow as well as Voronezh city. Reportedly, Madhur Bhandarkar was honoured in Russia by the Indian Ambassador to Russia Ajai Malhotra for his valuable contribution to Indian cinema.
