Madhur Bhandarkar Invited To Be On the Jury of Cairo Film Festival
The 35th Cairo International Film Festival is set to start from November 27. Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, due to his contribution to the Indian Cinema, has been invited to be a part of this prestigious film festival.

The 35th Cairo International Film Festival is set to start from November 27. Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar , due to his contribution to the Indian Cinema, has been invited to be a part of this prestigious film festival.
On being chosen to be on the jury for the 35th Cairo International film Festival, thrilled Bhandarkar was quoted saying, "I am delighted to be a part of the International Jury for the 35th edition of Cairo International Film Festival. I love the theme that they have 'positive thinking revolution and freedom'."
A retrospective of Madhur Bhandarkar 's films including ' Chandni Bar ', ' Page 3 ', ' Corporate ', ' Traffic Signal ' and ' Fashion ' was showcased at the festival in 2010.
Other eminent personalities to attend the festival from the West include Bruce Willis, Salma Hayek, Samuel L Jackson, and Bill Murray.
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar 's much-hyped upcoming film ' Heroine ' starring Kareena Kapoor is ready to hit the theatres on September 21, 2012.
