Mouni Roy to play a grey role in Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’!

The beautiful Mouni Roy , who is one of the most successful actresses of the small screen, is all set to make big by appearing in 2 high-cost Bollywood movies. The actress who started her career a decade ago finally got a break in mainstream Hindi films. She first has ‘ Gold ’ opposite Akshay Kumar and then she will appear in mega-budgeted, ‘ Brahmastra ’, directed by Ayan Mukherji . Though she will play a simple housewife in ‘ Gold ’, her character in ‘Brahmastra’ will have shades of grey. That’s right; just in her second film, Mouni will play a negative role opposite biggies like Alia Bhatt , Ranbir Kapoor and Shehenshah, Amitabh Bachchan . The Karan Johar ’s Production is set to be a trilogy and the first part will be out in the year 2019. Talking about Mouni’s role, a source stated to a leading daily, "Alia will obviously play the damsel in distress, who is Ranbir’s love interest in the trilogy. But Mouni will play a villain in the first part. Her character will have shades of grey."

The film is yet not started as all the three leads: Alia, Ranbir, and Amitabh are busy with their ongoing projects. Recently, Ranbir and Alia headed to Tel Aviv, Israel to prep for the film along with Ayan. Karan, who is producing the film, revealed that the shooting of the film will commence in February 2018.

Earlier, a source told a leading tabloid, "Mouni recently came on board and will start shooting when the film goes on the floors. For now, Ayan is keeping other details of her role under wraps."
