Naseeruddin Shah, Kalki Koechlin's movie 'Waiting' to be premiered in Dubai

Helmed by Anu Menon and produced by Drishyam Films and Ishka Films, the film 'Waiting' featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Kalki Koechlin will be reportedly premiered at the 12th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival. 'Waiting' will be premiered in the 'Cinema of the World' event's programme. The event will see best of the Indian, Arab and international cinema. The event will take place from December 9 to December 16.

Yash Raj Films' 'Veer-Zaara' had also been premiered at this event earlier. The film was India's official entry to the Oscars. The film 'Waiting' revolves around two persons who are different in nature from each other. It speaks of the way they find comfort in each other's company while facing a situation.

Ishka Films' founder Priti Gupta is excited about selection of 'Waiting' at DIFF. Gupta stated "Our aim was to bring out the subtle nuances of relationships and maneuver a sensitive landscape with a light, positive brush. It is an endearing and beautiful movie for not just Indian, but the world audience, as it is essentially about the universal human circumstances, which are deftly portrayed in a tender yet humorous way,"
