Rohan Sippy 's much awaited movie ' Nautanki Saala! ', starring Ayushman Khurana was shot in 35 days itself. Reportedly, Rohan and producer Bhushan Kumar wanted the actors to have a rehearsal before giving the actual shot. Thus, a four day rehearsal training session was organized, like it happens in theatres.

The film is all about drama. Initially it was titled 'Dramebaaz' but later they zeroed on ' Nautanki Saala! ' as it was way too catchy. The phrase was also used in the Ramesh Sippy 's movie Sholay . The film quickly completed as many shots were of one-take. Rohan found the shoot to be fun as this was the first movie where he actually rehearsed with his actors. It happened exactly like theatre where they improvised and set everything in place in advance.

Rohan had a tight Budget. It helped creatively as there wasn't too much money at stake. Rohan was grateful that Bhushan Kumar gave the liberty and scope to try doing things differently. Rohan found the process of making very satisfying and enriching. The movie will release on April 12, 2013.
