Nawaz takes training for Marathi

Veteran actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is known for his skilled performances, is always in search of something new and unusual. He is known to strive hard to essay his character perfectly. The actor who is known to show his different shades of acting will be seen in a different role in the upcoming film 'Bombay Talkies'.

Veteran actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is known for his skilled performances, is always in search of something new and unusual. He is known to strive hard to essay his character perfectly. The actor who is known to show his different shades of acting will be seen in a different role in the upcoming film ' Bombay Talkies '. Nawaz will be seen conversing into Marathi.

To essay his character perfectly, Nawaz now has learnt Marathi. He attended one workshop to get proficient in the language. Nawaz will be seen as a 'Marathi Manus' for the first time on the celluloid. The actor who hails from North India, has never spoken Marathi before. So according to him, learning Marathi was quite an experience for him. In one of the short films of ' Bombay Talkies ' Nawaz will be playing a Marathi guy who lives in Lalbuag.

Nawaz expressed that, he has learnt a new language and it was an experience for him. Almost 40% of his dialogues in this film are in Marathi. So he attended a special workshop to learn Marathi. He learnt the language as he wanted to deliver his dialogues perfectly. He said that it was quite challenging for him so he hopes the audience will appreciate his efforts in this film.

Director Dibakar Banerjee said that he has decided to put the subtitles for Marathi dialogues as the film will be released all over the country. There will be subtitles in English for Marathi dialogues in the film for the people who do not understand Marathi.
