Richa Chadda opens up about her cameo in 'Chalk N Duster'

Veteran stars Juhi Chawla and Shabana Azmi's film 'Chalk N Duster' has been released today, i.e. on 15 January, 2016. The movie was not promoted widely and did not create enough buzz. It is a small budget movie that talks about how the way of imparting education on children has changed in today's time. Actress Richa Chadda is also a part of this movie where she has a special appearance. Her character is of a journalist named Bhairavi Thakkar.

When Richa was approached for this film she could not say no to this opportunity. In an exclusive interaction with a leading daily, Richa said, "I was delighted to share screen space with such brilliant stars like Juhi Chawla and Shabana Azmi. It is always a learning experience to be a part of an amazing script with such outstanding performers. So when I was offered the role of a journalist, I just couldn't ignore it."

Directed by Jayant Gilatar, the film 'Chalk N Duster' also stars, Girish Karnad, Zarina Wahab and Divya Dutta in the key roles.
