We all know her, see her and adore her sexy but cute and adorable personality. She does short but strong supporting roles but marks her presence on the screen and in our hearts and minds. We are talking about none other than Divya Dutta a hardcore Punjabi kudi, who is working in the Hindi and Punjabi industry for many years and is considered as one of the talented and strong actresses in the tinsel town.
Born on 25th September in the year 1977, in Ludhiana, Punjab, Divya has a huge fan following at her birthplace. She works in Punjabi films too. Over the years she has appeared in more than sixty films in the Indian film industry. Gorgeous Divya did her schooling from Sacred Heart Convent in Ludhiana.
Her performance in the film 'Shaheed e Mohabbat' won her many positive reviews and critical appreciation. This film gave her a recognition as an actress. She has grabbed more than 25 awards and many nominations in her total acting career. She got an opportunity to work in two international films also.
Divya has also done modeling in many commercial advertisements. She has worked in one video too which was named as Romeo and created by Basement Jaxx, the well known music company in London. She made a debut in the film industry through the film 'Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna' in the year 1994. Her notable films include 'Agni Saakshi','Suraksha','Chhote Sarkar','Train to Pakistan','Samar','Rajaji','Bade Miyan Chote Miyan','Kasoor','Basanti','Shaadi ka Laddoo','Baghban','Veer-Zaara','Mr. Ya Miss','Joggers Park','Silsiilay', etc.
Her releases in the recent years are ,'Love Khichdi','Chargesheet','Hisss','Morning walk','Monica' ,'Stanley Ka Dabba','The lion of Punjab' etc. She got awards for the role of best supporting actress in 'Veer-Zaara' and 'Delhi 6' and got Star's Sabse favorite kaun award for 'Welcome To Sajjanpur'.
Divya was recently seen in the films like 'Dangerous Ishq','Special 26' and 'Heroine'.
