Prakash Jha 's latest serving , ' Satyagraha ' is meant to be a social - political drama. Starring a strong team of actors, such as Amitabh Bachchan , Ajay Devgn , Kareena Kapoor , Arjun Rampal , Manoj Bajpai , adds up a realistic feel to the whole scenario.

The story line is roughly based on the ongoing series of corruption, generating a feel of regret among the common man of the country. And it's just not our thinking about the flick. Reportedly, the stars of the film too believe the same. As per the sources, the foremost senior in this league, Big B expressed the flick to be a combination of 'satya' and 'agraha', which means truth and request. If you ask something with request, it would surely be granted. The star further stated that the above fact is a learning for a lifetime and indeed for several lifetimes, as per the sources.

So does believe another star, Ajay Devgn . He stated his connect to the film as he believed in the subject to have a direct connect with the viewers. Along with this, he also believes that today people are more strong enough to stand opposed to the authority and would not accept just anything posed on them. Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai too reportedly consider the subject to be reflecting the current status and dilemma among the people. Though the film has an entertainment quotient, it does not lack in projecting the integrity in itself.
