Shahid Kapoor starts shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu!

Finally, the actors of Padmaavat have moved on from all the ugly controversies around the film. While Ranveer Singh has already started his upcoming film, Shahid Kapoor too has now commenced the shooting of Batti Gul Meter Chalu . The movie went on floors a few days back but Shasha has now joined the cast and commenced his part. A pic from the sets is out and the actor can be seen in a complete local avatar. Shahid is playing an Uttarakhand based lawyer and his attire looks totally regional. The winter clothes, a scarf and a Rudraksha Mala on his neck are convincing enough what kind of role he is playing. Have a look at the pic.
A glimpse of Shraddha Kapoor can also be seen in the pic, along with director, Shree Narayan Singh . The actress will be seen as Shahid’s love interest and will have an impactful role in the second half. Apart from these two, actress Yami Gautam will also play an important role in the movie. She plays another lawyer in the film.
For the uninitiated, the film revolves around a small town of Uttarakhand which faces the problem of irregularity of electricity. Made under the banner of Prernaa Arora ’s KriArj Entertainment, the movie will hit the screens on 31st August 2018.
