‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ shifts to 23rd February; to now clash with ‘Hichki’!
The film was supposed to release last year, but has been postponed three times since then.

Directed by Luv Ranjan , the upcoming romantic comedy film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has been pushed again. The film, which was scheduled to hit screens on February 9, will now arrive in cinemas on February 23. The makers have taken the decision to come on February 23 as they did not want to clash with Aiyaary and Pad Man , which are also poised for their theatrical release on February 9. Pad Man , starring Akshay Kumar , was earlier releasing on 25th January. However, when filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali requested Kumar to delay his film for Padmaavat , the actor agreed and decided to come two weeks later.
Starring Kartik Aaryan , Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in lead roles, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a love triangle set in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Produced by Bhushan Kumar , Krishan Kumar , and Luv Ranjan , the film will now clash with Rani Mukerji ’s Hichki , which is slated for a February 23rd release.
Now, the field is open for Pad Man and Aiyaary . It will be interesting to see which film makes most of the opportunity.
