The gripping trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s Lucknow Central unveiled!

Ranjit Tiwari ’s upcoming film Lucknow Central starring Farhan Akhtar in the lead is making news for all the right reasons. The film recently released its first look poster of Farhan Akhtar in which he is seen in a completely transformed look which was highly appreciated. The team’s concept “Kishen Nirdosh Hai” also became the topic of discussion amongst the fans online. Now, to render a perfect idea of the forthcoming movie, the makers have dropped the official trailer video!

The trailer is a fast paced one with a gripping storyline. It is set at the backdrop of a jail where Farhan’s character Kishen who is accused of a murder has been imprisoned. The small-town guy has big dreams of becoming a singer but destiny lands him up in jail. Kishen now forms a band in the jail to perform before the officials while underneath also plans a rescue mission with other jail inmates. Watch the trailer here:

The film's backdrop is similar to Yash Raj Films’ Qaidi Band and since the concept was recently featured in its trailer, it does not seem new! The jail, the condition of the prisoners, the effort for freedom seems on the similar lines. However, it will be interesting to see how the makers of Farhan Akhtar ’s movie Lucknow Central make it stand out.

Along with Farhan, the film also stars Diana Penty , Gippy Grewal, Ronit Roy , Deepak Dobriyal, InaamUlHaq and Rajesh Sharma. Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Nikhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani, Lucknow Central has been scheduled to release on September 15, 2017.
