Udta Punjab to be showcased at AIIMS for doctors
Udta Punjab will be screened at AIIMS for resident doctors, as per the report.
Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh starrer Udta Punjab garnered success at the box office. Now the film will be reportedly screened at AIIMS on the hospital campus for making the resident doctors aware of the various aspects of drug abuse and addiction. The screening has been planned by the authorities at National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre.
The resident doctors can get to know the issues related to substance abuse and hence, they can understand and treat patients in a better way, said one of the doctors. A fair degree of clinical skills and perseverance and patience is needed to deal with such patients, added the doctor.
