Sony TV to pull the plug on 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey'?
Launched a few months back, the Sony TV show Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey failed to deliver desired numbers and hence it is soon going off air.
For a show, making a mark in the extremely competitive TV space is not easy. There are hundreds of shows that are running on hundreds of general entertainment channels, all eyeing the top position. But a very few of them get audiences' immense love and remain in the reckoning for the longest time. The ones which fail to survive the competition are nipped in the bud. The latest show which is soon going to bid adieu to the audience is Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey which airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
Produced by Ochre Moving Pictures, Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey stars Eijaz Khan and Niyati Fatnani in the lead roles and focus on the love story of a middle-aged rural man Mukhiji and a young urban lady Aru. The show was started with a lot of fanfare some time back but turned out to be a big disappointment on the TRP charts. Now the makers have decided to pull the plug on it. Reportedly, the show will bid adieu to the audience by the month of September (2017). It is yet not disclosed as to which show will replace it.
