Eijaz Khan

Eijaz Khan is a well-known small-screen super star. He has appeared in films too. Eijaz Khan was born on 28 August 1975 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has done his schooling from 'Our lady of Perpetual Succour High School', Chembur in Mumbai. He earned his degree in Civil Engineering from Datta Megha College of Engineering, Airoli. He has a father, his mother is no more. He also has a brother and a sister younger to him. Before entering to acting he used to contribute to his family business which deals with shock absorbers. Though now it is looked after by dad and brother.

Eijaz featured in many TV commercials such as Breeze, Chloromint, TVS Victor, BSNL etc. He also appeared in some music videos such as 'Leena O Leena', 'Ho Gaya Ho Gaya', 'Nachche Saari Raat', 'Patang Wali Dor', 'Kehdu Tumhein' etc. He also featured in the Aids awareness video.

He entered films and did movies like 'Thakshak', 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya', 'Zameen', 'Kuch Naa Kaho', 'Just Married', 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang', 'Tanu Weds Manu'. He played the lead role in 'Meerabai Not Out'.

Parallel with movies he did some high TRP Serials of Balaji Productions K-series. He got his break from Ekta Kapoor and was termed as a part of Ekta Camp. He worked in serials like Ekta Kapoor's 'Kkusum', 'Kesar', 'Koi Dil mein hai', 'KKavyanjali', 'Kahin To Hoga',' Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka', 'Kyuki saans bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kasam Se', 'Kayamath' etc. Other than Ekta Camp, he also appeared in daily soaps 'Bhaskar Bharti and Shubh Vivaah'.

Eijaz met with an injury while performing at a stage show, which resulted in the dislocation of his shoulder which has had its effects till now. He has shared that he lost a lot of work after the injury. Eijaz broke up with his long time girlfriend Actress 'Anita Hassanandani' in 2010.

Eijaz will come back on the big screen with his upcoming movie 'Zila Ghaziabad'. It has a big star cast like Sanjay Dutt,Vivek Oberoi and Arshad Warsi.
