Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat announce breakup; pen a note for fans on social media

Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty first met Raqesh Bapat on Bigg Boss OTT, where they fell in love. Even after Bigg Boss OTT and Bigg Boss 15 concluded, their romance that started on the reality show continued. Raqesh and Shamita had previously been seen in public on multiple occasions. The couple did, however, confirm what rumours had been circulating around since the last few months. Through statements posted on social media, Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat confirmed that their relationship has ended.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Shamita penned, "I Think it's important to make this clear. Raqesh and I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this beautiful music video is for all the fans who've given us so much love and support. Do continue to shower us with your love as individuals too. Here's to positivity and newer horizons. Love and gratitude to you all."

Raqesh, on the other hand, also issued a statement on Instagram and announced their split.

Hours after Raqesh and Shamita's romantic photo from their upcoming music video went viral on social media, the couple announced their breakup. In the picture, Shamita received a kiss on the cheek from Tum Bin (2001) fame. The duo will be seen in a music video soon.
