Airlift: 5 Week Total Box-office Collection

Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur starrer film Airlift has proved to be a blockbuster. It is the first film that entered the 100 crore club in 2016. The movie completed 5 weeks and has garnered good business for itself. The movie made Rs. 127.80 crores in 5 weeks (35 days) at the domestic front.

Airlift is based on the real life incident and narrates the story of an unsung hero who with his wit and courage managed to rescue more that 1 lakh 70 thousand Indians stranded in a war zone of 'Kuwait'. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the film also stars Purab Kohli.
