Shahid Kapoor to collaborate with Airlift fame Raja Krishna Menon!
Yes, Shahid and I are very keen to do our next film together and it will be a film based on a true story, confirms Menon.
Actor Shahid Kapoor, who just gave a blockbuster hit with Padmaavat, has now become the apple of the eye of many filmmakers. He is currently shooting for Shree Narayan Singh’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu and is in talks with several other noted directors. But according to recent reports, he has given his nod to collaborate with Raja Krishna Menon, who has earlier made films like Chef and Airlift.
A source close to the development told a tabloid, "Shahid and Raja have been planning to work together for a while now. They had met after the release of Udta Punjab back in June 2016 and had kept in touch, looking for a project to collaborate on. Both agreed on a script that Raja had been working on."
Confirming the same, director Raja Krishna Menon said, "Yes, Shahid and I are very keen to do our next film together. We have been working on an idea that we are both excited about and it will be a film based on a true story."
Meanwhile, Shahid is also in talks with Imtiaz Ali for an upcoming project, but that’s not going to start any time soon. And he has also been meeting director, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, for a film based on the sports of Kabaddi.
