Bilqis a.k.a. Bobby (Vidya Balan) dreams big of becoming a detective. But none of the agency is ready to hire her, also there\'s tension boiling up in her own conservative family. Still, Bobby follows her goal by solving local cases. But she strikes gold, when a mysterious man named Anees Khan (Kiran Kumar) comes up with a case of tracking girls for him with some strange birthmarks. Things are fine, until Bobby suspects Khan\'s intentions. Therefore, she sets herself on a mission against Khan.
