One line Review: High on action, this patriotic drama narrates a fierce tale of a cat and mouse chase between the protagonists and the antagonist. Positive Points: The movie is a treat to watch with its hard core action and, John Abraham in his rough and tough avatar. The fast pace of the story and the crisp timeline is another plus point. Negative Points: The execution of the plot is cliched yet watchable. The presentation is extremely Bollywoodish and over dramatic at times. Plot: The movie opens with a series of killings of RAW agents that are headquartered in China. A.C.P. Yashvardhan (John Abraham)’s best friend Harsh is also killed in these attacks. Yash receives a clue of the suspect and decides to investigate the case. He joins hands with the RAW squad and teams up with the Special Raw Agent K.K. (Sonakshi Sinha) for this mission. They head to China and later to several locations including Budapest so as to get hold of the traitor Shiv Sharma (Tahir Raj Bhasin) who is responsible for leaking information about Indian agents to the adversary nation. Will Yash and KK be able to crack the case and get hold of the absconded traitor Shiv Sharma and save the nation? The climax reveals the rest. Direction and other Technical Aspects: Director Abhinay Deo has does a fairly good job when it comes to execution and, he has also managed to keep the story gripping despite the clichéd scenario. The plot manages to entertain the viewers yet, the dramatic sequences become a bit too overboard at times. The dialogues are apt and the narration is smooth. The action sequences are shot beautifully with utmost perfection. The chase scenes are also a delight and render a larger than life visual presentation. The editing is tight and the length of the movie is a major plus. The way, the sequences catch pace is worth appreciating. The shooting locales are captured suitably enhancing and supporting the plot. Performances: John Abraham is in his rugged best in the film. The tough cop manages to impress with his moves, dialogues, and of course high octane action stunts. He manages to grab the limelight all on him with his heroic act. This film will surely be a delight for all the John Abraham fans. Sonakshi Sinha is surprisingly not very convincing as a trained RAW agent. Her character seems underdeveloped and has a very regular girl aura with a close to little hint of a trained RAW agent. Her mannerisms could not startle. After her powerful performance in Akira, more of action sequences were expected out of her character. Tahir Raj Bhasin is a perfect villain. He manages to annoy you with his irksome ways of working. He pulls off his role perfectly well. Genelia Deshmukh and Boman Irani have cameo appearances. All other supporting actors do justice to their part, serving the story to move forward smoothly. Music: The action drama does not have too many songs which is in support of the film. The back ground score is good. Final Verdict: Overall this intense tale has been dedicated to the RAW Agents and their family members who selflessly serve the country. Overall Force 2 sums up to a good one time watch.

The film opens to consecutive assassinations. Three RAW agents are down in China. The head office of the intelligence agency suspects a national threat. One of the three deceased happens to be a friend of Mumbai Police's Yashwardhan Singh (John Abraham) - a cop who admits to feel nothing following his wife's death five years ago.

The problem with making a slick action movie is that it has to be slick enough. That is all the genre demands and it is, quite frankly, a tall order. We yawn at Bourne movies now, for God's sake. After watching Keanu Reeves amid the gorgeous artisanal beauty of John Wick, we'd steer clear of anything with Vin Diesel in it. We aren't tolerant of old action movies -- the genre gets dated quicker than most -- and they frequently seem unforgivably cheesy even a few years after they first come out.

Often in a film, especially towards the end, one of the characters spouts a dialogue that surmises what's going on in the audience's mind. This time around John says it mid-way, a few moments after the intermission - Something's going wrong. He gets it bang on. 'Force 2' is high on style, low on substance. Deo's forte are thrillers, John spells action.

Another attempt by Bollywood hunk John Abraham to be the 'dishoom dishoom' daddy of Bollywood goes thack, twag doom in this instant noodle follow up to the 2011 actioner FORCE, that made John Abraham and his followers believe that he is the action star Bollywood is looking for. While we are still looking for the reason behind the making of this saggy sequel that follows everything from Matt Damon's Bourne series to Neeraj Pandey's BABY starring Akshay Kumar.

It is not easy to find a film that does not promise an iota more of anything than it intends to deliver, and then efficiently delivers on that promise. Force 2 is an intense action flick that serves up slick stunts and technical finesse to support its straight-laced storytelling style. Director Abhinay Deo's latest film is a sequel to Nishikant Kamat's Force (2011), which starred John Abraham and Genelia D'souza.

FORCE 2 is an out and out action drama between a RAW agent and a cop, both of whom are embedded on the same mission but with a different vision. The film starts off with a series of killings of three vital Indian RAW agents in China. These killings not just shock the Indian RAW wing, but also a send them into tizzy about the crime suspects and their agenda behind these killings.

Five years back, John Abraham and Nishikant Kamat had teamed up for Force, the official remake of South flick Kaakha Kaakha, which became a major box-office grosser because of its action content and a powerful protagonist ACP Yashwardhan. This time, producer Vipul Shah is back with a sequel titled Force 2, which has been directed by Abhinay Deo (of Delhi Belly fame), but is the sequel as entertaining as the prequel?

The sequel once again brings back the daredevil officer, ACP Yashvardhan (John Abraham) but this time he has a bigger job to do than just the Mumbai police work. After a series of killings of RAW agents become rampant in China, an investigation team is set up to nab the traitor who has been exposing the undercover agents. After losing his best friend in a similar killing, Yash comes across a clue sent by his friend that leads to the criminal.

Three undercover RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agents are killed in three different cities in China. No one knows who is behind these orchestrated killings, and work in the higher echelons of power is thrown out of gear. The government cannot admit that their agents were spies. So they are disowned.

When Force released in 2011, it was John's first solo hit as it catered to the action lovers. Come 2016 and John Abraham is back with its sequel, this time around there is Sonkashi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin giving him the company. The film is directed by Abhinay Deo, who directed Delhi Belly, Game and two seasons of 24 India in the past. The film is shot on a bigger canvas and has a much bigger conspiracy at than the first one.

As another one forces its way into our multiplexes amid a rash of Bollywood sequels, the question is inevitable: is this film any good? Here's the answer: despite being marked by narrative pace and stylistic pizzazz, Force 2, directed by Abhinay Deo, isn't a humdinger of a spy thriller. Yet, while this sequel might not sweep you off your feet, delivers enough thrills to keep you hooked to the high-octane action unfolding on the screen.

I spy with my little eye... an action movie with some cool stunts but a textbook thriller plot. Three RAW agents are killed in China. One of them is Inspector Yash's (John Abraham) best friend, Harish. But before dying, Harish leaves inspector Yash a clue indicating that something bigger has been set in motion.

A funny looking gangster is in the midst of negotiating a deal when a bike stops in front of him. The rider is a tough cop whose uniform is doing a bad job of containing his bulging biceps. Soon we are told that he doesn't fear death... because he lost his wife five years ago. During the fight that follows, one of the gangster's sidekicks attacks the cop and a nail pierces through his shoulder. It's a good excuse to do away with his shirt. So, he removes his shirt, flashes his chiseled body (of course the camera angles are the key here), beats up the bad guys, and walks away in super slow motion.

In this sequel to the 2011 'Force', ACP Yashvardhan returns in a faster, more thrilling actioner, set in Budapest and Berlin, the grand, picturesque old cities of Europe. Scratch that. 'Force 2' aims for all of those things, and by rights, should have been all of those things, but ends up feeling overlong and stretched, and more than anything else, over familiar.
