This upcoming A-Lister debuted in the industry long back in 2001 through a daily soap 'Just Mohobbat'. The actor later tried his hands in direction by directing a play 'The President Is Coming' in 2006. He made the adaption of the play into a film with the same name. 'The President Is Coming' released in the year 2009 marked the directorial debut of the actor into Bollywood. The film starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Shernaz Patel received mixed reviews becoming a semi-hit.

Kunaal Roy Kapur born on 12th October 1979 already showed his presence as an actor in Bollywood in the film 'Loins Of Punjab Presents' in 2007 by delivering a cameo in it. He was later visible in the film 'Panga Naa Lo' which was released the same year. The actor played his second innings on small screen with the British-Indian comedy series 'Mumbai Calling' soon after.

The family of the star is also associated with the entertainment business rooting his elder brother Siddharth Roy Kapur (CEO- UTV Motion Pictures) and younger Aditya Roy Kapur (actor). But this is not where the association began, mother of the actor Salomi Roy Kapur has been a former Miss India as well as an actor who later turned to be a choreographer.

The actor-director - husband to Shayonti and a father of two kids Shanaz and Zahaan tasted real success in the year 2011 with the film 'Delhi Belly' starring alongside Imran Khan and Vir Das. The adult comedy produced by Aamir Khan Productions turned out to be a blockbuster of the year, showering fame up on the actor.

Kapur has now started entering the lime light with his latest releases 'Nautanki Saala!' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. His latest release 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' with brother Aditya Roy Kapur in the second lead proved to be one of the massive hit of the year 2013. Though the actor played a cameo in the film was not unnoticed due to his acting skills, forecasting a brighter future for the star.
