Shiva (Akshay Kumar) plays the role of is a small time conman who also is in love with Priya (Sonakshi Sinha). Priya is a beautiful girl whom he met at the wedding ceremony of someone where he was not invited to. Into this picture ideal world there is the entry of a six year old Neha. She strangely believes that Shiva was her father! And if this was not sufficiently bad, Shiva too becomes the item of a series of life menacing attacks by a group of noxious villains. It appears that they seem to know something which he did not know. While attempting badly to save his life and love, Shiva falls upon a lethal top secret. A secret which would drive him to a small town in Bihar; a town which is terrorized by its cruel MLA and the mafia he controls; a town whose inhabitants\' just expect for salvation is... Shiva!
