After completing a majestic 50 days run at the big screen, Padmaavat to now premiere on Amazon India on March 27th!
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, which is still running in theatres, will be available on Amazon Prime India from 27th March.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmaavat, which went through a whole lot of difficulties before its release, has finally got its dues paid. Released on 25th January 2018, the film is still running in many theatres and has completed a glorious 50 days run at the domestic box office. Not only the film completed the 50 days feat but it also entered the elite 300 crores club. And now, it is all set to have its digital premiere. That’s right! The film which is still banned in few major states of India will now be available on video streaming platform, Amazon Prime India. The audiences can now enjoy Padmaavat on streaming giant from March 27th, 2018.
Starring biggies like Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead and Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh as the supporting cast, the film was made on a lavish budget of Rs 230 crores. And despite a big ban in few States, it has earned more than 301 crores and is still minting money.
The film did exceptionally well business in foreign markets, especially in all the English speaking countries and till date, the worldwide collection of Padmaavat has reached to Rs. 580 crores.
