Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha is all set to share the big screen opposite Punjabi superstar, Diljit Dosanjh. A few weeks ago, the makers of this upcoming film declared the title of the film as, ‘Golmaal in New York’. Then there were reports that the makers of ‘Golmaal Again’ have an issue with the word ‘Golmaal’, as it’s the title of their franchise. Now according to a leading daily, Vashu Bhagnani, the producer of the film, might change the word ‘Golmaal’ with ‘Gadbad’. A source told the daily, "Karan gave the makers an ultimatum. He made it clear that if they called the film Golmaal in New York, he wanted nothing to do with it. In fact, KJo said he wouldn’t even come on set because he respects Rohit and didn’t want to upset him at all." The source also added, "Of course, Bhagnani too saw reason in the whole Golmaal v/s Gadbad argument and on his own opted for Gadbad."
Previously, Sonakshi and Diljit have collaborated for a song ‘Move Your Lakk’ in the film ‘Noor’. This is the first time that the two will share the screen for a full-fledged film. Apart from these two, the film also stars Lara Dutta, Boman Irani and Karan Johar in the lead roles and the movie now will be titled, ‘Gadbad in New York’. The shooting of the same has already started and it will be an out-and-out comedy movie.
