Noor (Sonakshi Sinha) is a young, and unorthodox journalist who finds it difficult to carve a niche in her career of journalism with the increasingly dull and boring assignments. The desire to grow vertical in her career with that "one big story" is all there on her mind. Eventually, she gets the lead story of a Human organ harvesting racket in which her house maid Malati's brother was one of the victims. She tries to use this to her advantage of advancing in her career failing to realize the sensitivity and the risk of life associated with the case.

However, there lies a big twist in the story when things turn upside down and against her favour. Will Noor be able to reach her goal?
