Ilaiyaraaja's son to enter in Bollywood

Yuvan Shankar Raja, the son of the veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja is soon going to compose music for a Hindi flick staring Emraan Hashmi.

Till today, Bollywood had seen several South actors venturing into Hindi cinema, but now it seems that trend is taking a new form. Yuvan Shankar Raja, the son of the veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja is all geared up to follow his father's footsteps. The new talent will be composing the music for Emraan Hashmi 's next flick, which will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh and will be produced by UTV.

The Creative director of UTV, Manish Hariprasad said that a universal appeal is hidden in the music of Yuvan Shankar Raja. The Creative director expressed his happiness while launching Yuvan. A close source told that the filmmakers heard about the work of Yuvan and hence, they intended to meet him. After the meeting, the filmmakers finalized upon the thing to work together for Deshmukh's films, which always contained a good music, revealed by the source.

The leading actress of the film is yet not decided and the director Kunal Deshmukh is at present working on pre-production phase of the movie.

Very soon, Yuvan will be coming in Mumbai for discussing in detail regarding the music with the filmmakers, the source said.
