Is Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra teaming up with Hrithik Roshan for Ronnie Screwvala’s ‘Kabaddi’?

Hindi filmdom is buzzing with the rumour of Hrithik Roshan being in talks with filmmakers Vikas Bahl for his mathematician biopic and Ronnie Screwvala for his forthcoming film, titled Kabbadi. Neither the filmmakers nor Hrithik Roshan himself has said anything confirming the development. While everyone is awaiting a confirmation on the said projects, the latest buzz circulating around is that Ronnie Screwvala has signed director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to helm his sports film, Kabaddi.

While it may take some time before an official announcement is made regarding these projects, Hrithik Roshan is taking his father Rakesh Roshan’s ambitious film Krrish 4 very seriously and will start preparing for the film very soon. Krrish 4 is the fourth instalment of the successful Krrish franchise and may go on floors by the end of this year.

A source revealed, “The script is being worked on. Though Hrithik has agreed to do the movie, the paperwork is yet to be done. Since Rakesh Roshan is in the last leg of scripting Krrish 4, Hrithik wants to start prep for that film first. His father's film is his first priority.”

If Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra & Hrithik Roshan really work together on the film titled Kabaddi, it will be interesting to see what magic they create on the silver screen. Both have never worked together before.
