Kalki Koechlin was a lot in news lately for her film ' Margarita With A Straw ' which was based on a sensitive subject. The movie is the life story of a girl who is a patient of cerebral palsy and her relationship with another woman. The story is based on a homosexual relationship and her emotional journey about freedom and sexuality and her aim to find her herself in the world.
The bold actress took to twitter and wrote: ''And in Filmfest DC look who won best feature film! #MargaritaWithAStraw". The actress was super happy after her film received the recognition. The movie also travelled to various other international film festivals even before its release.
