Buzz for Madhur Bhandarkar’ upcoming film, Indu Sarkar, is steaming up and it is for good! Earlier it was announced that Madhur Bhandarkar is returning to his forte of making realistic films after making a mediocre film like Calendar Girls and this time he chose to target politics. The upcoming movie is based on political events happened during the time of National Emergency era from 1975-77. It really sparked a buzz and everyone is curious to know more about the storyline and characters. And to cash the curiosity, Madhur Bhandarkar released first look post of Neil Nitin Mukesh’s character in the film and it looks more intriguing than one could imagine!
Since the story revolves around Indira Gandhi and the political distress during the time of National Emergency, Neil Nitin Mukesh has striking similarities with former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, hence he was cast for this role. Considering Neil Nitin Mukesh, it is quite evident that he can easily slip into any character and portray it as his own. The character itself has the capability to flip the story upside down and he wisely chose the role plus the way he mends himself for this character is really commendable.
It must also be an easy decision for Neil Nitin Mukesh to accept this role as he previously worked with Madhur Bhandarkar on Jail, so they have a good rapport. Besides Neil Nitin Mukesh, the cast also includes Kirti Kulhari, Anupam Kher and Tota Roy Chowdhury in key roles. The film will be in the theater on 28th July 2017 and BollywoodMDB will keep you posted on next clue of the puzzle.
