Neerja makers wish the movie to be tax-free

Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja released on February 19, is basking in the glory of success as everyone is going all praise for this inspirational tale. Ram Madhwani directorial witnessed an awesome opening weekend at the box office.

The makers of Neerja want the movie to be tax-free to reach maximum number of people, reportedly. The director Madhwani stated "We would very much like that the film be made tax-free so that stories like Neerja can reach to maximum people and more people can remember her,"

The report further stated that the photographer, producer Atul Kasbekar said "Neerja will definitely get tax-free but please understand that the procedure is followed state-wise. It's not that one application will work all the states. And whether it will be tax-free or not, the decision is taken only after some time of film release,"

The lead lady Sonam Kapoor expressed herself by saying "I just want people to watch the film. And with that intention, I feel Neerja is going to be tax-free soon,"
