Prasoon Joshi attends a special screening of Padmavati ahead of CBFC board!

While there are a plenty of oppositions for the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmavati, there are a number of people who have come out in support of the film lately. Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Kapoor among other stars supported Bhansali. Now, the latest update claims that before going to the censor board for certification and its verdict over the release, the makers of Padmavati arranged a special screening for CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi.

A source revealed, “Prasoon Joshi ji saw Padmavati and from what we are told, he found nothing objectionable in the content. Now the Censor Board members will view the film. We expect the film to sail through without any cuts.”

Joshi did not find anything objectionable in the film. Also, as Bhansali clarifies, there is no dream sequence between Khilji and Rani Padmini. In the film, Deepika Padukone plays queen Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor essays Raja Ratan Singh while Ranveer Singh plays Alauddin Khilji. The film releases on December 1, 2017, in India.
