Sridevi clears the speculations about Mr. India Part 2!
Veteran star Sridevi clarifies the speculations about Mr. India part 2 and says her husband-producer Boney Kapoor will definitely take it up.

Veteran star Sridevi is gearing up the release of her upcoming film Mom . The movie has been in news for all the right reasons and has a lot of buzz around it for its intriguing trailers. The film being Sridevi ’s 300th film has garnered a lot of limelight as she marks the completion of 50 glorious years in the industry and looks like million bucks in all her outings. Another news that has received a lot of speculation is the remake of one of the most popular films - Mr. India (1987) starring Sridevi and Anil Kapoor.
In a recent media interaction, the gorgeous actress puts light on the subject and explains the status of the film in detail. Sridevi said, “There is nothing like that. People are keen and want Boney ji to make Mr. India part 2. Would like to watch Mr. India part 2, I think he will definitely be doing part 2 but it’s too early to talk about it. There is no truth to talks that we are working on the subject. There is still time (for that).”
The actress added, “There is nothing wrong in making a film again as it would be really fun watching that in a completely different style. I am sure the makers will do full justice to it.” So, the fans who are waiting for the part 2 have to wait a little long though, she gave a confirmation about the film being on the cards and is not shelved.
About the upcoming film Mom , along with Sridevi , it also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sajal Ali and Akshaye Khanna in key roles. The film has been scheduled to release on July 7, 2017.
