Sushant Singh Rajput wishes to work in regional movies

Sushant Singh Rajput is a 'Rising Star' of Bollywood, who will be unveiling his acting talent for the very first time on the silver screen in the upcoming film ' Shuddh Desi Romance '. Belonging to non-filmy background while studying engineering, he was destined to make it big in Bollywood. After leaving a mark on television, he dazzled in Bollywood with his debut super hit film ' Kai Po Che ' and is presently alluring his fans with his much-awaited ' Shuddh Desi Romance '. On futuristic basis, Sushant is likely to open up to act in the regional films.

In a media interaction, he said he never planned his career. Though, he is open to everything. He just wants to be the part of films and that can be Marathi, Gujarati or anything. So, he is open to do all regional films. Therefore, this being an opportunity for all those regional film producers, who want to cast the daunting actor. In his career, Sushant has portrayed various regional characters of a Marathi man, a Gujarati youngster and in his upcoming movie, he will be seen playing a Rajasthani lad.

For Sushant's forthcoming film, ' Shuddh Desi Romance ', he has again teamed up with director Abhishek Kapoor . While talking about his experience of working with the director, he said that when they were shooting for ' Kai Po Che ', Abhishek had trusted him. After the success of ' Rock On ' (2008) and Kai Po Che ', he could have cast any star for the film, but he approached him. So he has enough respect for him.

' Shuddh Desi Romance ' is a love-triangle revolving around the subject of love, attraction and commitment. The movie is based on the theme of live-in relationships. It also stars Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor . The film is produced under the prestigious Yash Raj Films banner and is all set to release on September 6.
