Unlike his previous films, Imtiaz Ali’s next with Shahid Kapoor is not going to be a travel-oriented movie!

In 2007, Imtiaz Ali collaborated with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan for the first time and the trio gave a critically and commercially successful film, Jab We Met. The romantic comedy was a massive success and since then, the fans are waiting for Shahid and Imtiaz to collaborate once again. Well, after 11 long years, the two are coming together but not for the Jab We Met sequel. It will be a completely different film. And unlike all his previous films, Imtiaz Ali’s next with Shahid will not be a travel-oriented movie.

Now, in an interview with a leading daily, Imtiaz got candid about his upcoming movie. While all his films have the theme of travel in them, this movie is going to be a tad bit different. Imtiaz stated, "The film is a human story. It’s in one place. If I can tell you one thing, it would be that it is not a travel-oriented film, which is a good thing for me, it will be different for me."

However, the filmmaker did stress on the fact that nothing is official as of yet. "It’s not really decided (when the movie goes on floors), even the casting isn’t decided yet. Shahid and I have met and spoken about it but it’s not as if we have decided and signed anything at all. There’s nothing officially planned about it," Imtiaz said.

Well, for the last few years, Shahid is surprising the masses with his layered acting, so it will be highly awaited whatever he does next.
