Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ already a profitable venture!
According to reports, Rangasthalam 1985 has already raked in Rs. 30 crores even before the theatrical release of the film.
Ram Charan’s films are always received well by the audience and pull in collections at the box office. But box-office is not the only place his films make money from. Many of his movies become successful even before entering cinema halls because they always fetch lucrative satellite and digital deals for the makers. The same has happened with his much-awaited film Rangasthalam 1985. Reportedly, the film has already earned over Rs. 30 crores before the theatrical release.
Satellite rights and digital rights are always crucial for makers to recover a huge amount of the budget. Whenever a big release is round the corner, officials of leading satellite and digital channels start their negotiations to buy the rights of the film. The icing on the cake for Telugu industry is that after the success of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, Bollywood market is eager to buy the rights of their films more than ever before.
Reportedly, Bollywood rights for Rangasthalam 1985 have been sold for a massive amount. Makers have pocketed Rs 20 crore rupees for the digital and satellite rights. The Bollywood rights have been sold for Rs. 10.5 crores which means that the movie has already collected Rs. 30 crore rupees even before the release of the film.
