'Airlift' Box-office: First Wednesday Collections; Nears 80 Crores!
Akshay Kumar starrer 'Airlift' had a fantastic first Wednesday at the domestic box-office.

'Airlift' starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in the lead has been enjoying ample footfalls at the theatres. The movie-goers have loved the film and cannot stop raving about it. The movie has received superb reviews from the critics and praises from the industry insiders. Raja Krishna Menon's directorial raked in Rs. 6 crores on its first Wednesday; hence the total collection stands at Rs. 78.50 crores at the domestic front.
'Airlift' is based on the real life incident and narrates the story of an unsung hero who with his wit and courage managed to rescue more that 1 lakh 70 thousand Indians stranded in a war zone of 'Kuwait'. Akshay Kumar is set to break his own records with this film. The thriller has been released along with Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab starrer 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' which is not performing well at the box-office.
