Mast star Kitu (Aftab Shivdasani) is a college student in Pune whose life revolves solely around dreaming about filmstar Mallika (Urmila Matondkar) to the extent that he fails his exams. He runs away to Bombay in search of her and takes shelter in Usmanbhai's (Neeraj Vohra) hotel near her house. From here he catches a glimpse of Mallika's real life behind the camera. He saves her from the clutches of her cruel uncle (Govind Namdeo) and takes her to a real and loving world of his parents, sister and friend Nisha( Antra Mali) in Pune.Reality and fantasy come together after a few misunderstandings and emotional scenes.
