Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway' to release on 13 December
Veteran director Imtiaz Ali's forthcoming directorial venture 'Highway' will hit the screens on 13th December this year. The team of 'Highway' is currently doing its second schedule. 'Highway' features muscle man Randeep Hooda and beautiful Alia Bhatt.

Veteran director Imtiaz Ali 's forthcoming directorial venture ' Highway ' will hit the screens on 13th December this year. The team of 'Highway' is currently doing its second schedule. ' Highway ' features muscle man Randeep Hooda and beautiful Alia Bhatt .
Famous producer Sajid Nadiadwala who is producing the movie will release ' Highway ' worldwide on 13th December. The producer said that he is very excited about the project. He also revealed that he came to think of the movie and in last year's month of December, he decided to go ahead with this project. He also said that despite having such shoot , they are going great. They have started shooting in this March and now already have started with the second schedule.
The film travels across the roads of six Indian states. Music maestro A. R. Rahman has given the music for this film. He is trying to match the music of the film according to the versatility of the culture of Indian states, from Haryana to Himachal , from Punjab to Kashmir and from Delhi to Rajasthan.
According to the reports, ' Highway ' is very dear to Imtiaz who previously has directed movies like ' Rockstar ' ,' Jab We Met ', and ' Love Aaj Kal '. In this movie, Alia Bhatt will be essaying the character Veera. The source said that when Imtiaz had planned for ' Highway ', he had some other older actress in his mind. But when he met Alia, he thought that Alia will be perfect to play 'Veera' .
