Madhur Bhandarkar announced the release date of Indu Sarkar!
Actors Kriti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer film would be in the theater on 28th July 2017!

National award winner, Madhur Bhandarkar recently unveiled a poster and a few stills from the shoot of his upcoming political drama, Indu Sarkar and it instantly trended on Twitter! Madhur Bhandarkar is known for his films, making a strong comment on the society or on a particular type of industry. The filmmaker announced the release date of the upcoming movie. It will be out in the theater on 28th July 2017.
Madhur Bhandarkar has been working on this script for quite a long time, as the subject topic is still politically sensitive to many. The movie would be a period drama based on Indian emergency era from 1975-77 and the plot will revolve around former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi when she announced the State of Emergency and the film would also be depicting what the nation and every citizen was going through. Every detail has to be perfected and needs to be based on real fact and uncompromised. Hence, he met many politicians and journalist of that time and finally came up with the final script in December, 2016.
Since Madhur’s last outing ‘Calendar Girls’ bombed miserably and critically discarded, Indu Sarkar could be his saving grace for him. About the cast, Kirti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead along with Tota Roy Choudhury and Anupam Kher.
