1st week highest earners of Bollywood in 2017!

Bollywood had quite a rocking year so far in terms of box office performance and critical overview is concerned. As many film projects like Rangoon, Ok Jaanu, Commando 2 were thought to cast hit on box office but tanked at it. Whereas some movies managed to save the grace, performing average like The Ghazi Attack, Phillauri, Naam Shabana, Begum Jaan and almost all of them praised in terms of critical success is concerned.

Although Bollywood Box office also saw some humongous success and some even broke many records. Raees was one of the most anticipated releases from Shah Rukh Khan and it did live up to expectations, both critically and commercially. But clashing with Raees , Hrithik Roshan starred Kaabil , which was a surprise hit as not only masses liked Hrithik Roshan's performance but also fell in love with the suspense story it had.

In Feb and March! Jolly LL.B 2 released with starring Akshay Kumar in it and it also did live to its box office expectations. And why not, the prequel was a super-hit to masses and sequel has Akshay, it had to be a hit. Then in March, Badrinath Ki Dulhania came to theaters and became a hit in its first week. Although this film was average on critical aspect and labeled as just another Bollywood love story film. But it had a powerful message and if anything sells well with masses, shouldn’t be doubted.

But the real star at the box office was undoubtedly ‘ Baahubali2: The Conclusion ,’ and we are just talking about its Hindi Version only. Certainly, the hype created by its first part was enough to cash in for its sequel. It not only made every critic exuberated with brilliance put in the making of this magnum opus, but it also broke many box office records and set a new milestones for any Bollywood film to achieve.

Bollywood box office still has hopes from the upcoming releases like Tubelight, Jagga Jasoos, The ring, Padmavati and Tiger Zinda Hai, which could end the year on a good note!
