The Story
Sanjay Gadhvi is a well known script writer and film director. He was born on 22nd November 1965 in Junagadh,Gujarat. His father is Manubhai Gadhvi who is a well known speaker, orator and socialite. Sanjay made his debut in the Bollywood by directing a movie 'Tere Liye' which was not successful. Then he wrote and directed 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai' in 2002. The movie was moderately successful at the box office.
His next was action thriller 'Dhoom' in 2004 starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Uday Chopra. The film was a great success at the box office and established Sanjay in the industry. Then he directed the sequel of 'Dhoom' known as 'Dhoom 2'. The movie had Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. It was also a huge success and was the highest grossing film of that year. Later he directed the film 'Kidnap' in 2008 starring Imran Khan and Minissha Lamba. The film was average at the box office.
In 2012, the director directed the movie 'Ajab Gazabb Love' starring Jackky Bhagnani and Nidhi Subbaiah as the lead pair. The movie got mixed reviews.
